5.  Bishop Philip Lasap Za Hawng (Auxiliary Bishop of Myitkyina)
He was born on Feb 12, 1945. He was ordained a priest on March 1, 1973 and appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Myitkyina on Dec 20, 1993. His episcopal ordination was on April 30, 1994. He served four years as the Auxiliary Bishop in Myitkyina Diocese. After four years of serving as a good shepherd, he was installed Bishop of Lashio on Oct 4, 1998. He retired from the pastoral governance of Lashio Diocese on June 24, 2020.
